Privacy and data handling

MuninX has a European infrastructure footprint for core application hosting and email delivery.

Known infrastructure context:

  • Most compute runs on Hetzner in Nuremberg, Germany.
  • Primary MuninX application data is in the Netherlands on Google Cloud.
  • Email delivery uses AWS SES in Frankfurt, Germany.
  • AI-assisted features use OpenAI.
  • Payments are processed through Stripe.

MuninX does not guarantee that all data stays in Europe. AI processing, payment processing, and third-party providers may involve processing outside Europe under their own terms.

MuninX does not currently document public GDPR certification, data-residency guarantees, DPA terms, SCC coverage, uptime guarantees, or security certifications in these docs.

For privacy-sensitive questions, distinguish core application data, AI-assisted features, email delivery, and payment processing.
